Dean F. Hurd passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, in Payson, UT. He was born Aug. 7, 1924, to John James and Ida Chandler Hurd. He was one of 14 children. He spent most of his life in Aberdeen, ID. He enlisted in the Army in April of 1942 and served 11 and a half years, serving in World War II and Korea.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Dora, his parents, and 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Jessie, one brother, one sister, his grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Aberdeen First Ward Building, 149 W. Central, Aberdeen, ID.
